On the waterfront in Southwest Florida, this Showcase Home shines with products provided by Design Studio by Raymond indoors and out.

This Country French style home incorporates distinctive architectural elements and building materials. A two-pitch roof was finished in a blended 4 color concrete tile. Andersen windows and patio doors were chosen in a “Chocolate Chip” color with a matching iron entry door. The custom built cedar shutters were painted to match the windows and doors. The driveway consists of all reclaimed brick. The exterior of home was trimmed in a smooth finished pre-cast. Small details such as the exterior lighting were specially custom made to match the style and finish of the home.

Design Studio by Raymond worked with the builder and interior designer to provide most of the building products in this custom home. Together, along with a great crew of professionals, we were able to build a beautiful, elegant home unique to the Fort Myers area.

Outdoor Living

Following the French Architecture style, the windows and doors color, grilles, and shape was chosen from Andersen’s premiere E-Series with insulated glass.

The Trellis is made from a 36 foot Cedar Beam with 4×8 Cedar cross beams provided and installed by the Design Studio by Raymond.

Raymond also provided 1,800 sq. ft of premium beautiful and durable Ipe decking.

The outdoor room becomes a cozy lounge with Outdoor tongue and groove select cypress ceiling with custom cypress crown detail to match in-door crown all provided and installed by the Design Studio by Raymond.

Two sets of Andersen E-Series French Doors provide access from the inside to the outside living areas.

The outdoor kitchen design includes built in outdoor cabinetry with custom finished cypress doors, an under-counter outdoor refrigerator, and grill.

All windows, doors, and the outdoor kitchen were provided and installed by the Design studio by Raymond.

Outdoor Ipe decking extends the length of the home’s waterfront and Limestone flooring surrounds the pool and outdoor kitchen.

Kitchen

Kitchen Cabinets

Rutt Regency New Yorker door was selected for its simple yet elegant look. Finish Shown is and antiqued white paint with Chardonnay Glaze.

Appliances

Miele Wall Ovens were specified to coordinate with the simple yet elegant theme and sit flush on the cabinetry. Thermador 48” Grand Range Pictured in the background complete with warming drawer and steam cooking features rounds out the cooking package. Fully integrated Thermador Refrigeration columns are pictured on the right.

Professional Series Wall Hood was used over the Range. Raymond Building Supply fabricated a custom chase to carry the ceiling angle seamlessly.

All Cabinets and Appliances are supplied and installed by the Design Studio by Raymond.

Molding

Crown Molding used is a large Cove Style to coincide with house details. Raymond furnished all of the molding and trim throughout the home.

Cabinetry Island

Rutt Cabinetry was used on the two level island. The New Yorker Door style was carried through to this are. However an offsetting color and species was used to delineate this from the cabinetry perimeter. Shown in this picture is Cherry with Antiquing, Sand through and Glaze. Base Color is Davis Grey Paint.

Paneling

Fully Integrated Thermador Dishwasher on left end of island is hidden by a custom cabinet panel.

Tongue & Groove cypress ceiling with reclaimed pine beams.

Entry Door

A Vintage Iron Door offers increased curb appeal on the exterior and artistic beauty on the inside. This wrought iron door is custom made by a company in Central Florida. It is fully insulated, made with impact glass, and meets Miami Dade stringent building code.

Living Room

Custom Built Ins- Rutt Cabinetry New Yorker Door in Cherry. Davis Grey Paint with Antiquing and Brown Glaze. Custom Made Speaker Cloth is used on the upper cabinets to allow for Equipment Storage. 3” thick shelves help carry the lines of the beams and flat dropped soffit detail.

Dining/Living area

Aquarium and paneling styles are carried over from the kitchen. High base and a simple top rail help round out the clean yet elegant feel of the space. Rutt New Yorker Door Style with White Antiqued Paint and Chardonnay Glaze.

Master Bathroom Cabinetry

The Hampstead Door in Maple with Blackstone Stain 10% sheen pictured. The stain and wood species combination allows for the natural characteristics of the wood to show through. This permits a simple yet warm feel in the space and creates a point of contrast. Mirrors are framed out in a simple flat stock in the same selection of woods.

Study

Rutt Modern Crasftsman Door Shown in Cherry with a linen paint, Antiqued and sanded through with a Café Sienna Glaze. Contrasting trim and Wood Countertops are shown in Cherry with A Java Stain. Bookcase and Flyover Shelves are 3” thick to give some substance to the space. Using these styles we are able to achieve a perfect blend for a relaxed workspace.

Windows

Adding more character to the home, custom cedar shutters were painted to match the windows and doors. Andersen E-Series windows were chosen with high performance Smart Sun Low-E4 Insulated Impact Glass and Verilock Wireless alarm sensors.

Doors

Andersen E-Series Doors with “Chocolate Chip” exterior color have 7/8” grille bars on exterior and interior. High Performance Smart Sun Low-E4 Insulated Impact Glass and Corrosion Resistant hardware were chosen for their durability in this Florida climate.
